Eric takes himself way too seriously. His only contribution was the cathedral and the bazzar which was a good paper when he wrote it. in a /. interview I asked what role did he play in valinux his answer was that he was there to nip bad ideas in the bud. Well apparently he did a great job http://finance.yahoo.com/q/bc?s=LNUX&t=5y . He knows nothing about buisness but feels entitled to give uninformed opions to everyone from cisco to sun.
I Agree! His interviews in Revolution OS, specially on additional disc is a good evidence. Even the cathedral was not such a big deal… A good thing, just in very right time…
