Orkut error messages

with 3 comments

You may have seen a lot of errors while hanging out in orkut. But I bet this one is very original:

Not enough storage is available to process this command

A quick search in google will take you to this page from microsoft.

A note to Google guys: Haven’t you been famous for being huge fan of Linux?

Google Messenger

with 58 comments

It’s not too hard to predict next google service: Google Messenger

Maybe it’s just an idea, but even the idea is very cool. And if it ever happens:

  • It will use Orkut for registration and will utilize your Orkut friends list as your contact list.
  • It can also be used as a Google search representative on your desktop. So you can search in google without opening up a browser windows.
  • It can search on your hard disk content, a local search engine.
  • And also a desktop notify tool for your Gmail.

What do you think? Anyone has other ideas?

And remember, you heard it here first.

Google’s Facelift

with 2 comments

I have noticed this already, but it was only looking different from one of my computers not on others. It was like seeing an alien waving at you in your backyard, and no one believes this story. So I forgot what I saw and considered it as a CSS rendering problem on my Mozilla.

Now I am not alone and there are many others who have seen that waving alien.
Here is some screenshots to prove. Jesse Ruderman also explains his experience. Discussion on this subject on Neowin forums with many screenshots.

Google Censorship

with 4 comments

I bet Jeremy Zawodny will like this one: Google Censorship
I discovered it while trying to search “kazaalite” in Google. Try it yourself.
The result is interesting. They alter the search result, due to a DMCA complaint!

Yahoo! is not involved in this censorship business yet. Maybe its the time to switch.
